Realtrac, the real-time ERP shop management software, which integrates with two of the most popular Windows based accounting programs, Peachtree and QuickBooks, has now enhanced its long established multimedia capability for ISO 9002 tracking and quality requirements. Digital pictures, video images, CAD drawings, scanned documents, SPC control graphs and sound tracks can be transferred into Realtrac's multi-media library and linked directly to job router operations to aid in documenting standards and procedures.

A unique interactive bar code data collection system continuously updates in real time job schedules, machine loads and job costs as activity occurs on the shop floor. As a result, a user can respond to job inquiries NOW - where it is and when it will be finished. Instant Work-in-Process reports provide up-to-the-minute history of current and past jobs to evaluate costs vs. estimates, profitability and on-time delivery. A new multi-task time accounting feature is available to specified employees to divide their work time among several tasks being performed simultaneously. Nearly every system installed worldwide since 1985 has employed Realtrac's interactive shop floor data collection system. A new materials management system simplifies the preparation and tracking of material and outside service purchase orders. A complete inventory control system for raw material, finished and semi-finished parts, customer supplied material and tooling has been designed especially for use by job shops.

Forecasting of sales income is now aided by a database of scheduled shipments, and an invoice history record offers a tool for analyzing past sales. An enhanced management analysis and reporting system uses a Microsoft Access™ database of complete job information for analyzing profitability of jobs, machines and employees. Further detailed customized analysis and reporting of Realtrac data is available through a built-in interface with Microsoft Professional Office™.
